The Columbia County School District would like to inform all parents of children living in Columbia County of the opportunity for a permissive transfer to eligible schools.

Rising Freshmen Parent and Student Night (current 8th Grade) will be held at Lakeside High School on January 16, 2025 6:00 pm. There will also be Help Sessions at SIMS if you need assistance as you prepare to make your high school course selections.

It is time to sign up for Spring Sports at SIMS! All tryout dates, rubrics, and details can be found on the SIMS Athletic Website.

This year we will be honoring our active and retired Veterans with a virtual program. Please use the link above to share information about you or your loved one serving in our Armed Forces no later than Friday, November 8, 2024. Our virtual celebration will be posted on the SIMS website beginning Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Thank you for your service to our country!

We welcome all parents and teachers to join the SIMS PTO and get involved. The organization works to promote the goals of developing a unified relationship between educators and parents while supporting student success during their middle school years.
